[ Well, this was unexpected. Kitty was already past the whole waking up and discovering her wings part. She'd gathered her clothes and had gone well not to encounter anyone yet. This wasn't a place where she could tell whether or not she was in danger or not and that meant that she had to be careful. Extremely careful not to get caught until she could figure out where she was and how to get back to the others.

Of course it couldn't be too long until she screwed that up. It was easy for her to concentrate on her phasing, but it could get difficult when she wasn't exactly paying attention. And it was certainly hard to pay attention when you arrive in a new area without any of your teammates. Completely alone and defenseless. What a perfect target. Having a headache certainly didn't help.

Which probably explained why instead of phasing through the wall to grocery store, Kitty ended up slamming right into it. Landing onto her back, Kitty gazed up at the wall with a confused, dazed expression. ]

That wasn't supposed to happen. [ Not the most usual response for slamming into a wall. Help a girl out. ]

[ After recovering from the whole incident from before and discovering that this place was not trying to kill her. Well... not for being a mutant anyways. It was time to see if she could find someone that she knows. And maybe get some more info while she was here. ]

Oh, this and that. There's a sort-of Danger Room place, called the Battle Dome, that I do sports at sometimes. There's a fashion club and an art club, that I know about. There's school, there's a night club. Honestly, a lot of the things to do is just making your own fun. There's a lot of time to fill, and they don't explicitly offer us anything to fill it with.

Sounds like people are really settled here. The Battle Dome sounds really nice though. Contained battle practice. Can you do all types of battle in it?

Oh, yeah. Definitely. Kurt did a "high-seas pirate" battle simulation the other week. I'll be honest, I haven't really stretched what I can program into it; I stick mostly to sports arenas. But I'm pretty sure you could, if you wanted.

That sounds like it would have been fun. And I think that I might try it. Technology is something that I'm pretty good at handling, after all.
