[ Well, this was unexpected. Kitty was already past the whole waking up and discovering her wings part. She'd gathered her clothes and had gone well not to encounter anyone yet. This wasn't a place where she could tell whether or not she was in danger or not and that meant that she had to be careful. Extremely careful not to get caught until she could figure out where she was and how to get back to the others.

Of course it couldn't be too long until she screwed that up. It was easy for her to concentrate on her phasing, but it could get difficult when she wasn't exactly paying attention. And it was certainly hard to pay attention when you arrive in a new area without any of your teammates. Completely alone and defenseless. What a perfect target. Having a headache certainly didn't help.

Which probably explained why instead of phasing through the wall to grocery store, Kitty ended up slamming right into it. Landing onto her back, Kitty gazed up at the wall with a confused, dazed expression. ]

That wasn't supposed to happen. [ Not the most usual response for slamming into a wall. Help a girl out. ]

[ After recovering from the whole incident from before and discovering that this place was not trying to kill her. Well... not for being a mutant anyways. It was time to see if she could find someone that she knows. And maybe get some more info while she was here. ]

So... [ pointing as she talks. ] apartment building that way and battle dome that way. Any other important buildings I should be able to locate?

There's a library too. Otherwise...the rest of it you can probably just find as you need it?

Sounds like a plan. I think I can live with just knowing where the library and Battle Dome are.

[Eleanor grins.] That's pretty much how I think about it too. But most people are somewhat more social than I am.

It's considerate in the least. Back home, some people wouldn't even stop.

But we aren't where we come from, are we?

[ Kitty shakes her head slightly and lets out a breath of a laughter. ]

Yeah. Or this place would probably gonna be mess with murder.

You know, I sort of still expect that. But everyone here manages to...not be as violent as I think they will be.

[She shakes her head.]

I rather think I'm the one with the problem, in that respect.

I don't blame you. Maybe not everyone comes from a violent world, so it causes this.

I hope they don't. It'd be nice to know at least some people come from wonderful places.
